Responsibilities:
- Drive the Water Truck as required on a daily basis.
- Work alongside the straight back to complete the daily task of filling hydrovac trucks/drill as needed.
- Complete all inspections and daily paperwork required by the company and MTO.
- Learn procedures and policies for operating the straight vac.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment to the highest standards.
- Perform any other tasks required to maximize production while maintaining a high standard of quality workmanship.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year previous trucking, water truck, vacuum truck, or other related industrial experience required.
- Must possess a minimum Class 1, 3, or DZ license (A-D license in Ontario) with airbrake endorsement, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Preferred experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed).
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive position and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work extended shifts as required.
- Capacity to work independently in a team-oriented and safety-focused environment.
- Mechanical inclination is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with CVOR and Book 7 requirements is required.
